Physician - Family Practice

St. Luke’s Hospital and Clinics has a full-time position available for a Family Physician to provide a combination of ER coverage, outpatient clinic services, and conduct rounds at St. Luke’s Sunrise Care Center. Some travel to satellite facilities may be required. Applicants must have strong clinical skills necessary to make accurate diagnoses, perform approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based on patient’s status and formulate and implement appropriate treatment for acute illness and/or injury.

Working at St. Luke's gives you the opportunity to gain and continue experience in many different aspects of healthcare.  A successful candidate must possess accredited certification along with current State licenses; previous experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency, and/or Geriatrics is preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN)

St. Luke's has an opening for a rotating shift Registered Nurse at the hospital in Crosby, ND.  Self-motivated, team leader, and independent worker are all qualities desired for this position.  Ability to plan, direct and implement patient care and services, for acute care and swing bed, in accordance with St. Luke's Hospital policies and procedures. 

Must possess current ND license, be in good mental and physical health, and possess good communication skills, judgment, and creativity.  CPR is required; certification may be obtained after hire.  Contact Mary Haugland, DON at 701-965-6384 to discuss further.


Maintenance

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking applicants to fill our Full-time Maintenance position. 
Duties include:

  • Maintaining a clean, attractive, sanitary & infection free facility
  • Preventative maintenance of facility  & equipment
  • Completing repairs as needed or requested
  • Painting – external & internal surfaces as/when needed.
  • Maintain exterior of grounds & buildings – lawn in summer months and snow removal in winter.
  • Assures personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.

Dietary Aide/Cook

This position is responsible for preparing and setting up food supplies and nourishment for patients and guests in accordance with recognized safety, sanitation and food-handling standards and procedures. This is a full-time position.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepares meals for patients, staff, and guests daily.

  • Assists the dishwasher in returning clean dishes, pots, and pans to preparation areas.

  • Operates various food preparation equipment and utensils in a safe manner.

  • Maintains food preparation equipment and work area in a high degree of cleanliness.

  • Stock supplies and food items in work areas of the department.

  • Serves food in a proper manner.

  • Displays exceptional customer service skills.

  • Upholds the department standards and expectations at all times.

  • Performs related duties as required.

Universal Worker

The Northern Lights Villa is looking for an energetic Part-Time universal worker to join our team. Residents of the Villa are allowed to live their independent life while getting assistance from the facility if and when they need it.

Duties include:

Occasional baking/cooking, serving daily meals in a community dining area and assuring the facilities cleanliness

Nursing background is a plus, but not required.

Van Driver

St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center is looking for a daily driver to operate the center's van in a safe and courteous manner. Daily transportation duties include assisting clients in and out of the van, planning routes, along with following all state and local safety rules.

Qualified Applicants will have; Valid driver's license, must be able to speak read and write in English, Must be 21 years of age (for insurance purposes). Prior experience with elderly, volunteer experience or group leading activities helpful.

Meal Assistant

St. Luke’s Sunrise Care Center is in need of Meal Assistants to help residents at meal times.  Meal assistants help residents that have feeding needs with meals and in meeting dietary needs; documenting food and fluids consumed.  Applicants will be required to complete in-house feeding course &be available during meal times; morning, afternoon, and evening.

Laundry / Housekeeping

St. Luke's Sunrise Care Center is seeking applicants to fill our Laundry and/or Housekeeping position. Part-time shifts available. Duties include:

  • Maintaining a clean, attractive, sanitary & infection free facility
  • Laundering of linens and residents clothing
  • Fold and sort clothes and linens.
  • Understands functions of various soaps and bleaches, and uses them appropriately.
  • Keeps laundry machinery and area clean by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and wiping
  • Assures personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
